For the past year and a half my self (Chris) and several other virtualization gurus including Chris Huss, Brian Perry, and Andrew Ellwood put our virtualization focused minds into writing a book all about VMware Infrastructure 3. As seen above the book is titled Mastering VMware Infrastructure 3 and is being published by Sybex.
After a long many months of work the book has finally been released and is available from online and brick and mortar retailers.

It includes real world best practices, introductions to helpful third party products, and even a chapter on ESXi the latest and greatest hypervisor product from VMware.
